It has been a little over a month since I’ve been able to take the time to put together thoughts for a blog post! I have not forgotten about my fledgling blog, but things got a bit more busy than normal around here after announcing the Disaster Relief Auction. We also took our 4 day weekend out of town immediately following the auction, so I’ve been playing catch-up since then!
Two of my good friends over at Knotty By Nature and Sparkle Motion Crochet, donated their time and wonderful works to the auction. The response and participation level absolutely stunned me! We raised $400 total to donate to 21 US Virgin Island Relief Fund!! How incredible is that?! I would love to host another relief auction in the future, but it will have to wait until after we move and get settled after the new year 🙂
In my last post I also introduced Hurricane Shawl-y! I am finally getting a chance to prioritize writing and revising the pattern to this snuggly shawl, and I’m super excited to share it with you all! It is a super simple repeat and utilizes the bead stitch. Be on the look out next week for the pattern release and bead stitch tutorial!
Thanks for stopping by,
❤ Lauren
